GTTCI Hosts Welcome Ceremony in Honour of H.E. Dr. Ulziit Luvsanjav, Ambassador of Mongolia

INTERNATIONAL : The Global Trade & Technology Council (India) hosted an elegant Welcome Ceremony in honour of H.E. Dr. Ulziit Luvsanjav, Ambassador of Mongolia to India, at the GTTCI Secretariat, Areness House, New Delhi. The distinguished gathering celebrated the enduring friendship between India and Mongolia while reaffirming GTTCI’s commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic engagement and expanding collaboration across trade, investment, technology, education, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
The ceremony was hosted under the leadership of Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President, Global Trade & Technology Council (India), who extended a warm welcome to H.E. Dr. Ulziit Luvsanjav, members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, and distinguished guests. In his keynote address, Dr. Gupta highlighted the deep-rooted historical and cultural ties between India and Mongolia and underscored the importance of strengthening economic diplomacy through sustained institutional engagement. He spoke about the growing role of the GTTC India–Mongolia Forum as a dedicated platform for enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, technology, education, healthcare, mining, renewable energy, and cultural exchange. He reaffirmed GTTCI’s commitment to working closely with the Embassy of Mongolia to facilitate business partnerships, policy dialogue, investment promotion, and sector-specific collaborations that contribute to the shared prosperity of both nations.
The event was graced by H.E. Mr. Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, Ambassador of Eritrea, Dean of Diplomatic Corps whose presence reflected the spirit of international friendship and diplomatic cooperation.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of diplomats representing China, Mongolia, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Russia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, and UNESCO, while members of the expatriate community from Ethiopia, Germany, and Türkiye also joined the celebration, making the occasion a vibrant platform for diplomatic interaction, international networking, and cross-cultural engagement.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Dhiraj Dhar Gupta, Director – Joyson Safety Systems, and Mr. Kazem Samandari, Chairman – L’Opera, whose participation added further distinction to the gathering.
A special highlight of the evening was the release of a book by H.E. Dr. Ulziit Luvsanjav, followed by an insightful presentation on “Mongolia’s Always Moving”, showcasing Mongolia’s remarkable economic transformation, investment opportunities, tourism potential, rich cultural heritage, and future vision. The presentation offered guests valuable insights into Mongolia’s dynamic growth story and reinforced the country’s commitment to expanding global partnerships.
The ceremony also featured an inspiring address by renowned author, educator, and leadership expert Mr. Shiv Khera, Founder – Qualified Learning Systems, who spoke on the importance of values-based leadership, international cooperation, and building meaningful relationships that transcend borders. His address resonated with diplomats, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, adding an enriching dimension to the evening’s proceedings.
A special address was delivered by Ambassador Rajasekhar, Former Ambassador of India to Cuba and Former Director (East Asia), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Drawing upon his extensive diplomatic experience, he reflected on the strategic significance of India–Mongolia relations and emphasized the importance of sustained diplomatic dialogue, economic collaboration, and stronger people-to-people connections in advancing bilateral ties. He commended GTTCI for creating an effective platform that brings together diplomats, policymakers, and industry leaders to strengthen international partnerships and promote meaningful global engagement.
Special guests included Mr. Satya Bhushan Jain, National Vice Chairman – Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), and Ms. Urvashi Mittal, popularly known as “The Flask Lady,” whose presence added further warmth and prestige to the occasion.
